The 11th RENEXPO® will take place in the Augsburg Trade Fair and Convention Center from October 7th-10th, 2010. This year, the second “Energy-Award powered by Joule & RENEXPO®” will be presented in cooperation with the German publisher dlv (Deutscher Landwirtschafts-verlag). The Energy-Award is given to individuals who have made important contributions in the area of renewable energies and energy efficiency in building and renovation. Nominees are being sought in the following areas:

Applications can be submitted as from now, or you can suggest nominees yourself. The high profile jury made up of representatives from the political and economic sectors as well as trade associations and the media will judge the applications based on the criteria of innovation, engagement, communicability, wide-ranging impact and model function.

The deadline for applications for this year's Energy-Award is August 20th, 2010.

The awards ceremony is on October 7th in the Golden Hall of Augsburg City Hall and will take place as part of the evening reception. The award winners will be presented at www.renexpo.de and www.joule-online.de as well as in the magazine Joule and will be given the opportunity to present their ideas and services to a wide audience.
